- The Valconite galaxy
Prince Vampiern iz a descendant of the Conqueror of the Blasphemy Galaxy. Hiz grandfather took that galaxy — so dark and vile no one stepped near it until the Valconitez found it, because they feed on corruption and wicked actz. Hiz father waz killed by the Spirium army thirty decadez ago.
He iz of the highest family of the Valconitez. He will kill hiz own if they stand in the way, and none of them are foolish enough to try. He wantz to expand their wickednesz acrosz every realm, corrupt what iz innocent, and walk chaoz through black holez.
Valconite flesh iz alwayz at war with itself, boiling like a volcano. Their armor iz two stonez: Tardinite, a dense white stone that can take a beating like no other material Valconitez have found and cannot be molded alone, and Vulpuz, a pitch-black stone that refinez easily. Mixed, they mold into armor that can touch the universe. Without it, anything not of their home worldz or their engineering burnz to ash under their skin. They garnish victory drinkz with the ashez of enemiez they judged wicked enough — sprinkled on the edgez of the cup, and only the most worthy killz.
The army
Valconitez must keep war and wickednesz to grow. They will consume anything they wish to consume but only gain true substance through the consumption of evil. If they do not feed they do not die — but become frail formz of themselvez, some become so weak a single step can break their bonez. In peacetime they hunt someone more corrupt than themselvez, or pay for a sacrifice. Leadership becomez paranoid: without a war, the next meal might be the person on the throne. Only leadership and high clergy wear the highest grade of Tardinite-Vulpuz. Vampiern wearz it.
Why the Scroll
If he takez the Crown he believez he can walk chaoz through black holez, speak wickednesz unto the innocent, and create an infinite supply of sustenance. Then he needz no one to help him rule.
The Scroll, then the Crown — infinite sustenance, no one left to share the throne.
